6 and half months!

I can't believe I have not posted since a month ago!  Where does the time go?  Maycen is almost 7 months now!  Let's see so much to catch up on. 

Jared is done with schools but has now begun his busy season flying on the otherside of the state.  He was home for a few days two weekends this month unfortunately one was guard weekend and I worked both of them.  I was able to use some leave time on this past weekend before he left but the time went fast and seems to get eaten up by chores and fixing things that have broken while he has been away.  I do have to say I enjoy the relief and although he feels like a slave, it is such a nice break for me.

Maycen had her 6 month appt and weighed in 17.9 during a sick visit and 18.2 this past week.  She is 27 inches long so 50% height and % 75th on weight. She is sitting up on her own which is so nice because she plays so much better now on her own and it is nice for getting the surgical shoe botties on a daycare now that I can just sit her down.  She has had this never ending cough and runny nose and I constantly mention this to her doctor but he feels it is nothing.  So we just wait it out I guess, maybe never because I see no end to daycare at this point, I feel so bad for her but really antibiotics won't really help at this point.  I am thinking of trying the teether tablets as they have Belladonna in them which can aid with false croup but I think it is too small to do anything in that aspect and prefer not to medicate her if I can avoid it.

Maycen, my little Q ball, still does not have much hair it is getting longer around her ears making her kinda resemble and old man. 

I will also tell you the update on the daycare situation quickly, I will not write too much as this is not a private site and since our court date for the civil suit to reclaim the money she will not return is still pending mediation in September it is best not to say much at all.  I will say that on June 16th the Licensor showed up to Ms. Caroline Sorenson's Daycare, at that time she said she did not have any daycare children other than her own so the agent was no able to survey her daycare or do an inspection.  She also stated she would be turning in her license the next day which she did do and now she is no longer licensed in Washington for this year at least.  She may be providing care without a license which is illegal and there are penalties for that but I am just glad that she is no longer licensed by the state.  Crazy lady, enough said!

This was our only boating trip we took this summer, I just love how her cheeks are so smooshed!  Sadly we caught very little Crab but Maycen was a good sport and luckily wasn't crabby at all!

Aunt Nene (Renee) came to visit us this summer while she was out for the Mustang car show we spent the day with her at the Pikes Market and then had lunch together!
